The City's first-ever “Yart” Sale on Saturday, August 14, will transform our yards, stoops, and porches into one giant open-air art sale and display.

Did your children make tons of macaroni artwork during quarantine? Did you find the postcard collections from your grandparents in your basement? Or are you an artist making artwork to sell or exhibit? Yart Sale is an opportunity for you to showcase or sell homemade artwork from the comfort of your yard, driveway, or outdoor space and for art lovers to view or buy new work.

Residents are encouraged to make their yards their galleries from noon to 6 p.m. on August 14. To participate as an exhibitor, please fill out the Somerville Art Council’s online form. The deadline to sign up is August 8. The rain date will be August 15.
